Sustained Professional Study in Schools or Districts
Tammy’s model for
The model includes critical components of successful professional study: the research foundation, real-life application, manageable data collection tools, and a follow-up focus on outcomes…not merely outputs! Tammy provides ongoing support for school leaders to ensure that their efforts remain focused and effective, and a menu of data point collectors are available for those organizations that wish to explicitly measure project success.
Example success stories include the initial pilot project implemented in a rural SC high school that registered ESEA grade movement from ‘F’ to ‘A’ in a single year; and implementation five years later by a committed K–5 school leader that resulted in an EVAAS growth measure increase from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest), also in only one year. Tammy has facilitated this study in schools and districts across South Carolina due to the generous support of the South Carolina Department of Education.
Distance Learning – Individual or Groups – Live or On-Demand
Traditional face-to-face learning has been the mainstay in education for generations, but sometimes that model is just not logistically feasible. Tammy has responded to the need for distance learning, especially during the national health crisis, with live distance events for large and small groups. Additionally, on-demand distance learning materials have been developed in response to the needs of those who desire non-traditional learning opportunities. Videos and accompanying study resources are available to guide individual or group professional study that can be conducted independently or facilitated by Tammy at your convenience.
